I would like to know which plantation the immigrants who arrived in Hawaii from Kobe Japan on the steamer Sussex entered March 1891. My great grand father, Kodani Kaneyemon, and his friend's name in the passengers list. According to The Honolulu Advertiser dated March 17, 1891, "The British steamship Sussex commences taking in sugar this morning at the O. R. & L. Co.'s wharf. Her 21 Japanese passengers from Kobe, Japan, have been landed. She has 8 passengers and a lot of rice in transit."
