We searched the National Archives Catalog and located the series Endorsements Sent, 1/1880 - 5/1881 in the Records of U.S. Army Continental Commands (Record Group 393) that contains information regarding endorsements along with a summary of the incoming communication of Fort Wadsworth, New York. We also located the series Inspection Reports of Offices and Fortifications, 1867 - 1867 in Record Group 393 that contains inspection reports of the post.
