Dear Ms. Johnson,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We suggest that you search the Bureau of Land Management site for the homestead patent file of Charles Johnson/Karl Johanneson. You also may search that site by location as well as the Washington State Archives, Digital Archives for survey plats, land patent books, maps and other land records for the Jefferson County, WA area.
In addition, we suggest that you contact Jefferson County, Washington to request a search of their land records and plat books for the time frame that you seek and search the Early Washington Maps at WSU Libraries Digital Collections, the Library of Congress Map Collection, and the David Rumsey Historical Map Collection.
Lastly, the National Archives website on Land Records and the FamilySearch Research wiki for Washington Land and Property may be useful.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
