Re: Seeking Anthony Donofrio in 1930 census record
Grace Yuhasz Dec 30, 2020 12:17 PM (in response to Rachel Ford)1 person found this helpfulIt seems to me very likely they were missed.
The 1922 Death Certificate of Antonio's wife Fioralba states her address as 2517 Ellsworth.
The 1930 Philadelphia City Directory lists Antonio at 2517 Ellsworth.
So it seems that the family were at this address.
On the 1930 Census, the family that is marked through at 2517 Ellsworth (the Frank Cunningham family) is enumerated further down the page at 2529 Ellsworth. Four pages over on page 3-A, the enumerator added missed households/members for this block. There is no entry for 2517 Ellsworth. It is possible that, in remembering to correctly list the Cunningham family, the enumerator forgot to add 2517.

Re: Seeking Anthony Donofrio in 1930 census record
Susannah Brooks Dec 30, 2020 12:46 PM (in response to Rachel Ford)I would assume that they did not get listed in 1930. This census taker made additions and corrections at the end of each block within his ED. The corrections that would 2517 Ellsworth St are on page 3A and do not include that address or the Donofrio family. https://www.ancestry.com/imageviewer/collections/6224/images/4639461_00119?ssrc=&backlabel=Return&pId=54446519
Anthony D'Onofrio is listed at that address in the 1930 Philadelphia City Directory. Information for this directory was probably collected in 1929.
