Dear Mr. Börjesson,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We suggest you contact the Library and Archives of Canada for immigration records and other information about Sven August William Ingvarsson/Ingvaldson.
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located 33 microfilm publications relating to Canadian border crossings in the Records of the Immigration and Naturalization Service (Record Group 85) that may contain immigration information for Sven August William Ingvarsson/Ingvaldson. Border crossing records from Canada to the U.S. from about 1895 to 1960 are recorded in what is often called the “St. Albans Lists.” The “St. Albans Lists” and other immigration records are available and searchable on Ancestry.com and FamilySearch, There may be a fee for using Ancestry. Instead, check for access at your local library as many library systems subscribe to these sites, making them free for their patrons.
Please review the FamilySearch Research wikis for United States Border Crossings from Canada to United States, Canada Genealogy and United States Genealogy for more resources.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your family research!
