We searched the National Archives Catalog and located Petty Ledger for Dies Furnished to the Branch Mints, 1885 - 1890 and Letters Received, 1/2/1900 - 11/26/1901 in the Records of the U.S. Mint (Record Group 104) that include records relating to the provisioning of dies to other branch mints by the U.S. Mint in Philadelphia. For more information about these and other Philadelphia Mint records, please contact the National Archives at Philadelphia (RE-PA) at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We also located 100 record series in Record Group 104 created by the San Francisco Mint from the 1870s through the 1920s. For more information about these records, please email the National Archives at San Francisco (RW-SB) at email@example.com.
