1 person found this helpfulDear Ms. Sprouse,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located a series titled Records of Divisions, 1917 - 1920 in the Records of the American Expeditionary Forces (World War I) (Record Group 120) that includes the 88th Division and files of the 350th Infantry Regiment in Entry P 1241-88, Boxes 7-8. We also located Records of Infantry Brigade, 1917 - 1919 in Record Group 120 that includes records of the 175th Infantry Brigade to which the 350th Infantry Regiment was assigned. For access to these files, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2) via email at archives2reference@nara.gov.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and pursuant to guidance received from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), NARA has adjusted its normal operations to balance the need of completing its mission-critical work while also adhering to the recommended social distancing for the safety of NARA staff. As a result of this re-prioritization of activities, you may experience a delay in receiving an initial acknowledgement as well as a substantive response to your reference request from RDT2. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and patience.
In addition, we searched online and located the following resources regarding the 350th Infantry Regiment and/or the 88th Division:
- History of the Three Hundred Fiftieth Regiment of U. S. Infantry, Eighty-Eighth Division, American Expeditionary Forces (digitized on Google Books)
- Memoirs of France and the Eighty-eighth Division: Being a Review Without Official Character of the Experiences of the "Cloverleaf" Division in the Great World War from 1917 to 1919 ; with Special Histories of the 352d Inf., 337th F.A., and 339th F.A. (digitized on Google Books)
- The 88th Division in the World War of 1914-1918. (digitized on HathiTrust)
- WW1 88th Division History
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
