The Italian Genealogy Group website lists a marriage in their index of NYC marriages that has names that are close to those you are looking for. https://www.italiangen.org/databases/
302801 Nuzzo Pascola May 15 1900 8501 Manhattan N200 Rifazio Filomena
8501 is the certificate number (the 302801 only applies to the indexing done by the Italian Genealogy Group)
You will have to decide if it is worth ordering the marriage record to determine what that original document actually says (the person that filled out the original form could have misspelled the names or the index transcriber could have made errors, if the handwriting is poor)
Dear Ms. Shaw,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
The Federal Government does not ordinarily create or maintain birth, death, marriage or divorce records. Such records are made and kept by State and local governments rather than the National Archives. We suggest that you contact the New York City Municipal Archives, which has custody of marriage records prior to 1930, and request a record search.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your family research!
