https://www.familysearch.org/search/family-trees/results?count=20&query=%2Bgivenname%3Aida~%20%2Bsurname%3Agary~%20%2Bbi… this information on this previous page suggest that Ida was only 10 when she married Henry 24.and she had her first child, Dinah, at the age of 11
Thanks so much, Alice! I can't tell you how much I appreciate the research help. I've wondered, given Ida's very young age at Dinah's birth whether Dinah was one of Henry's children from another marriage. Given the fact that the paternity of her daughter, Ida, was openly acknowledged to be CC Cooley and not Henry, I've speculated that she married Henry after Ida Cooley's birth. All of this is very complicated and very difficult to untangle. Thanks again for helping me piece together my family's story.
