For land and property records in Maryland go to https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Maryland_Land_and_Property
Familysearch.org is a free website but you do need to register to search.
I found a few web pages pertaing to your family in case you do not have.
Are you familiar with this webpage....https://www.wikitree.com/genealogy/BEULAH
1870 Census William Bewly 37 years old and family lived at Falling Creek Caroline County House #145 Home value $300
1860 census Gabriel Buley 60 years old...lives at house number 2436 Potters Landing Caroline County Property value $450
1850 Census Gabriel lived at house #1229 no town mentioned in Caroline county property value $1200
Wow, thank you Alice. I have seen a couple of these census's however I never had actual physical addresses for my grandfather Gabriel. I know he apparently died in 1874 or 1875. Do you know if there were death certificates at that time in Maryland? I am going to register to family search. Is that site more helpful than ancestry in your opinion or are they pretty much given the same amounts of information?
Hi again Nathaniel,
About family search an ancestry.
When it comes to opinions on anything I always tell people that it is best to try it out for yourself. familysearch. orgis free and Ancestry does give you a free trial.
familysearch has information about when Maryland issued death certificates. if you are signed in click on the link below
