Dear Mr. Giorgana,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located 39 record series in the Records of the Cooperative State Research Service (Record Group 164) that relate to Experimental Agriculture Stations in Alaska. These are mostly correspondence and records of operations. We also located 8 series relating to real property disposal that could potentially include files for property in Alaska, although on first review of the finding aids for these records we could not locate an obvious match. For more information about these records, please email the National Archives at Seattle (RW-SE) at firstname.lastname@example.org
In addition, we located 68 record series in the Records of the Bureau of Land Management (Record Group 49) relating to Alaska. For more information about these records, please email the National Archives at Washington, DC - Textual Reference (RDT1) at Archives1reference@nara.gov.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and pursuant to guidance received from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), NARA has adjusted its normal operations to balance the need of completing its mission-critical work while also adhering to the recommended social distancing for the safety of NARA staff. As a result of this re-prioritization of activities, you may experience a delay in receiving an initial acknowledgement as well as a substantive response to your reference request from RW-SE and RDT1. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and patience.
We suggest that you first check on the Bureau of Land Management General Land Office website (BLM GLO) under the specific section, township, and range that you are looking for. We also suggest that you contact the Alaska State Office for the Bureau of Land Management, the University of Alaska, and the Alaska State Archives.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
