We searched the National Archives Catalog and located Application Papers of Cadets, 1814 - 1866 in the Records of the Adjutant General's Office, 1762 - 1984 (Record Group 94). This series was microfilmed as National Archives Microfilm Publication M688 - U.S. Military Academy Cadet Application Papers, 1805-1866.
