Dear Ms. Greenfield,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
The National Archives only has custody of records created by the federal government that document tribal nations during American nationhood. NARA records would be of help in determining lineage, but any financial or claims issues are outside our purview. We suggest contacting the Bureau of Indian Affairs Minnesota Agency directly for more information about your claim.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
