Dear Ms. Anania,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located Publications Relating to Training, 1959 - 1961 in the Records of U.S. Air Force Commands, Activities, and Organizations (Record Group 342) that includes communications & electronics. We were unable to locate Air Force files pertaining to occupational therapy.
We also located the series Army Medical Specialist Corps Historical Files, 1957 - 6/1982 in the Records of the Army Staff (Record Group 319) that includes two file units titled Occupational Therapy Educational Supervisors Course, 1964-1965 and Occupational Therapy File that may have pamphlets or other literature.
In addition, we located the Occupational Therapy Section Curricula Approval Files, 1947 - 1962 in the Records of the Office of the Surgeon General (Army) (Record Group 112) that may have pamphlets or other literature.
For access to these records, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2) via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and pursuant to guidance received from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), NARA has adjusted its normal operations to balance the need of completing its mission-critical work while also adhering to the recommended social distancing for the safety of NARA staff. As a result of this re-prioritization of activities, you may experience a delay in receiving an initial acknowledgement as well as a substantive response to your reference request from RDT2. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and patience.
Additional records may be in the custody of the Air Force Historical Research Agency, 600 Chennault Circle, Building 1405, Maxwell Air Force Base, AL 36112-6424. The web site is https://www.afhra.af.mil/.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
