Dear Mr. Farmer,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
Various offices within the Department of Defense have informed us that no agency of the Federal Government has ever compiled comprehensive lists of all individuals who served in the U.S. Armed Forces in World War I from particular states or communities. If you have not already done so, we suggest you contact the Florida Adjutant General's Office.
The publication Soldiers of the Great War compiles a list of US Army soldiers who died in Europe during World War I, arranged by state and thereunder alphabetically by individual surname, with their hometown given. The publication Officers and Enlisted Men of the United States Navy Who Lost Their Lives During the World War From April 6, 1917, to November 11, 1918 covers both Navy and Marine personnel and is arranged alphabetically by individual surname. The listing provides the address of their next of kin rather than their own hometown.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
