BRIAN BANE Jun 4, 2020 10:11 AM (in response to Alice Lane)I have looked at it, but can only find Census records. I have not been able to find details on such an incident, any warrant records, or anything.

Dear Mr. Bane,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located Class 23 (Liquor Violations) Litigation Case Files and Enclosures, 1910 - 1970 in the General Records of the Department of Justice (Record Group 60) and General Records, 1920 - 1934 in the Records of the Internal Revenue Service (Record Group 58) that may include information about this case if it was handled by Federal law enforcement. For more information about these records, please contact National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2) via email at Archives2reference@nara.gov.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and pursuant to guidance received from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), NARA has adjusted its normal operations to balance the need of completing its mission-critical work while also adhering to the recommended social distancing for the safety of NARA staff. As a result of this re-prioritization of activities, you may experience a delay in receiving an initial acknowledgement as well as a substantive response to your reference request from RDT2. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and patience.
Since states were also involved in enforcing Prohibition laws as well as laws against violent crimes such as wounding persons, we suggest that you also contact the West Virginia State Archives and local courts. We hope this information is helpful. Best of luck with your family research!
