Dear Ms. Moltrer,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located 5 digitized images using the search term “Operation Torch” and 238 digitized images using the search term “North Africa.” There may be additional digitized images available in the Catalog related to the Allied invasion of French North Africa that might be located using other search terms such as the names of specific locations, units, and ships. Please review National Archives Catalog Search Tips for advice on searching for photographs in the National Archives Catalog. Also, there may be additional photographs which have not yet been digitized. For assistance with locating the non-digitized photographs, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Still Picture (RDSS) via email at stillpix@nara.gov.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and pursuant to guidance received from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), NARA has adjusted its normal operations to balance the need of completing its mission-critical work while also adhering to the recommended social distancing for the safety of NARA staff. As a result of this re-prioritization of activities, you may experience a delay in receiving an initial acknowledgement as well as a substantive response to your reference request from RDSS. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and patience.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
