1 person found this helpfulHi Shawn -- thank you for posting to History Hub!
The CARES Act was introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives as H.R. 748 on January 24, 2019. It was originally introduced as the Middle Class Health Benefits Tax Repeal Act of 2019.
Information on H.R. 748 is available through Congress.gov -- the official website for U.S. federal legislative information. On Congress.gov, each bill has an Actions tab with an overview of all actions taken and the date. You can also read the text of the bill as it was introduced in the Text tab.
Cheers!
Sarah
