Born March 8th 1925 im Djokjakarta/Dutch East Indies, deceased May 14 2009 in Groningen/Netherlands.-

If the family has the citation usually in the form of a General Order issued by the Infantry Regiment. I would start by searching the Division General Orders # listed in the citation.

We searched the National Archives Catalog and located a series titled Tenth Army Award Files, 1944 - 1945 in the Records of U.S. Army Operational, Tactical, and Support Organizations (World War II and Thereafter) (Record Group 338) that include two file units titled 200.6 HQs, Tenth Army Award Files 1945 and may contain a copy of the citation. We also located a series titled Unit Histories, 1943 - 1967 in Record Group 338 that includes a file unit titled 25th Infantry Division: General Orders.
In addition, we located the series titled World War II Operations Reports, 1940-1948 in the Records of the Adjutant General’s Office (Record Group 407) that includes general orders of the Tenth Army and the 25th Infantry Division.
