Seeking if related to Native Americans

I have family names dating back to 1700. I believe there is a native history. How do I find out?

Thomas E Hopson 1768 married to Martha Hopson 1779 - 4th Great Grands

Thomas Wright 1789-1860 married to Harriet Wright 1794-1860 3rd Great Grands

Marshall Hopson 1815-1875 married to Elizabeth Hopson 1818 2nd Great Grands

I am trying to understand Native American genealogy and its linked to the Hopson side. How can I find out?
