Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
The Federal Government does not ordinarily create or maintain birth, death, marriage or divorce records. Such records are made and kept by State and local governments rather than the National Archives. Therefore, we suggest that you contact the National Archives of Albania for his birth records and the Indiana State Department of Health for his death certificate.
For his arrival to the U.S., please review NARA’s Immigration Records web pages.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your family research!

xheni bekolli Jun 12, 2020 9:46 AM (in response to xheni bekolli)Thank you very much. I will continue to search according to your directions but I don't have much data. After his death the person who had the right to send us the money from his inheritance was Hamit Stermolli from Canton, OH. We don't have contact with his family. He made the money transfers on behalf of his son Feti Bekolli, ALBANIA. can there be any trace? I hope in your help.

1 person found this helpfulDear Mr. Bekolli,
Thank you for posting your follow-up requests on History Hub!
The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) does not provide services to locate living individuals. The records in the custody of NARA were typically transferred from other Federal agencies at least 20-30 years after they were created and used. Therefore, NARA records are not usually helpful in providing current information about individuals.
Mr. Stermoli would have used his bank or the Western Union Company to send the money transfers. Both are private financial institutions.
We suggest that you contact both Mr. Stermoli and Mrs. Hamit using the mailing addresses you have. Even though they are old, they may still live there. Or please check online directories such as address.com for their current addresses.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your family research!

In addition to the other suggestions, if you have access to Ancestry.com, or its equivalent in your country, you can search for him on the 1940 and 1950 census, his passenger list to the U.S., and other records.
