1 person found this helpfulDear Mr. Belason,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located Journal, 6/3/1822 - 3/18/1856 and Record Books, 3/1823 - 10/1855 in the Records of District Courts of the United States (Record Group 21) that were created by the U.S. District Court for the District of Missouri. 3/16/1822-3/3/1857. We also located Judgment Dockets, 10/1822 - 4/1929 in Record Group 21 that includes records of this court and its successors. These records and all other records of Missouri area federal courts in National Archives custody are located at the National Archives at Kansas City (RM-KC). Please contact RM-KC via email at kansascity.archives@nara.gov for more information.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and pursuant to guidance received from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), NARA has adjusted its normal operations to balance the need of completing its mission-critical work while also adhering to the recommended social distancing for the safety of NARA staff. As a result of this re-prioritization of activities, you may experience a delay in receiving an initial acknowledgment as well as a substantive response to your reference request from RM-KC. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and patience.
We hope this information is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
