I had the same experience yesterday, but response time is much better today. The internet is busier and slower because of the corona virus.

We hope that they will be resolved today, so please bear with us. We'll give more updates as we have them. The site was working again for me today but now I'm getting 503 errors- is this true for everyone?
We think that the site is now working as it should be. It might be worth clearing your cache or trying BTP in a new tab if you haven't don't those things already.
Fingers crossed we're past the really tricky stuff we were dealing with earlier this week and over last weekend.
Report back if no joy though.
