Re: RG 407 - Unclassified Unit Activation and Inactivation Files, 1963 - 1974
Elliot Schneider Mar 20, 2020 8:33 AM (in response to Rebecca Collier)Does the series have a finding aid or SF-135 that list units within these files or is this just repeated by year and service such as (Infantry, Military Police, Armored, Engineer)? I will follow website for closures due to our nation's crisis. Thanks

Thank you for posting your follow-up request on History Hub!
The National Archives Catalog description for the series IS the finding aid. The arrangement statement is “Arranged into yearly sub-series, and thereunder chronologically by date of The Adjutant General's Office (TAGO) approval of the requested action.” The paperwork for NN3-407-95-001 indicates the same. We were unable to locate copies of the SF 135s listed in the description.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
