Dear Mr. Huijgens,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located three series such as the Central Correspondence Files, 1936 - 1950 in the Records of the U.S. Maritime Commission (Record Group 178) that includes a file unit 901-13797 Netherlands Victory (SS) (MCE #91) Renamed Pelican; the Armed Guard Files, 1934-1946 in the Records of the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (Record Group 38) which includes a file unit Netherlands Victory 04/07/44 - 01/03/46; and the Armed Guard Logs, 1943-1945 in the Records of the Bureau of Naval Personnel (Record Group 24) that includes SS Netherlands Victory logbooks for 11 September 1944 to 30 October 1945 (in Box 531). The records are not yet digitized and available in the Catalog. For copies of these records, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2) via email at email@example.com.
We also suggest that you review Liberty Ships and Victory Ships, America's Lifeline in War and Research about the Naval Armed Guard websites for additional information.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
