We searched the National Archives Catalog and located a series Files of Suspect Cases Sent to Special Agents for Investigation, 1925-1935 in the Records of the U.S. Customs Service (Record Group 36) that pertains to smuggling alcoholic beverages into the U.S. via New Jersey & New York. Also in the Catalog, we located 3 series General Records, 1922-1942; Seized Vessel Case Files, 1926-1935; and Scrapbook Related to Rum Running, 1930-1931 in the Records of Coast Guard (Record Group 26) that may contain information about New Jersey.
