In general, all United States federal government records are in the public domain and may be freely used for any purposes. We would appreciate your crediting the National Archives and Records Administration as the original source. We do have some donated or other materials that might be copyrighted. For these materials, it is the user's responsibility to determine the copyright status and obtain any necessary licenses from the copyright holder. If you have questions about accessing and using specific motion pictures in NARA custody, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Motion Pictures via their email address mopix@nara.gov.
