We searched the National Archives Catalog and located Logbooks of Lighthouses, 1872 - 1944; Letters Sent to District Inspectors and Engineers, 10/1852 - 7/1939, Correspondence, 1/1911 - 12/1939; General Records, 1816 - 1936; Retirement Record Cards for Lighthouse Personnel, 1930 - ca. 1951; and Payrolls of Employees on Lighthouse Vessels and at Lighthouse Stations, 1871 - 1937 in the Records of the U.S. Coast Guard (Record Group 26) that may have the information you seek. The records are in the National Archives at Washington, DC - Textual Reference (RDT1). Please contact RDT1 via email at archives1reference@nara.gov for more information.We also located Service Record Cards, ca. 1900 - 1939 for Bureau of Lighthouses personnel in the Records of the U.S. Civil Service Commission (Record Group 146).
