We suggest that you begin your research by contacting town, county and state organizations, such as the Indequoit Town Historian, the Irondequoit Public Library, the Irondequoit Historical Society, the Monroe County Library System, the Monroe County Office of Historian, New York Heritage Digital Collections, New York State Archives, New York State Library, local newspapers, and university libraries in the area that may have special collections relating to local history.

Please be as specific as possible about the time period you are researching and which federal agencies may have owned the path or otherwise have had a connection to the path.
