Dear Ms. Place,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We suggest that you review the State of Florida’s Archives website for information about the collection date of the 1935 state census in Palm Beach, Florida in their holdings.

Re: Seeking 1935 Florida State Census Collection Date
Adrienne Place Mar 6, 2020 10:07 AM (in response to Adrienne Place)This was the answer I got from the State Library of Florida.
Thank you for contacting the State Library of Florida. Unlike the federal censuses, some of the Florida censuses did not include the date of enumeration on each sheet. However, Florida Chapter Law 17269, directing that a state census be taken in 1935, instructed the Commissioner of Agriculture to have enumerators starting work on April 8, 1935, or “as soon as possible thereafter.” It also directs the selected enumerators to have complete returns prepared on or before the 15th of May, 1935.
If you are interested in viewing the law itself, the 1930s is one of the decades we have completed in our work to scan all published laws of Florida.
Sincerely,
Laura Baas
