Dear Ms. Sheraden,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We suggest that you search County Departments: Warren County, Kentucky; and Warren County, Kentucky Genealogy websites for information about how to obtain a copy of the 19th Century estate papers for Jesse Barbre.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your family research!

Re: Seeking estate papers for Jesse Barbre
Alice Lane Apr 19, 2020 8:32 PM (in response to Donna Sheraden)Hi, Donna
Looks like the Jesse Barbre application was approved in 2004 as a Revolutionary War Ancestor.
Check out the following.
From http://www.coffey.ws/FamilyTree/Docs/BARBREFamily(C).htm
NOTES FROM TIM PETERMAN, (3/29/2004 and 9/17/2006):
"I’m pleased to announce that on March 24, 2004, NSSAR (National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution) registered Jesse Barbre as one of my Revolutionary War ancestors. I had long questioned whether they would accept the “Barbre Book”, since there is no hard core evidence that Jesse Jr. was the father of Jesse III - but it sailed right through. I don’t know if the DAR would accept the same documentation for the lineage.
from same website .....Sally Barbre (born, died), married Dec. 29, 1802 in Warren Co., KY to Abijah Morris.
Happy Hunting
