Dear Mr. Fitzgerald,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
Besides the records listed is our previous response that included organizational histories of the 572nd, we also located a series titled Organizational History Files, 1959 - 1973 in the Records of the U.S. Army, Pacific (Record Group 550) that includes a file unit titled Unit Histories: 572nd Transportation Company. As in the previous response, we were unable to locate daily journals for the 572nd. For access to and/or copies, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2) via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The semi-annual rosters (i.e., April and October) for 1960-74 for Army units are attached to the morning reports of the respective units. All rosters for the period are not available and usually list only enlisted personnel. Paper copies may be obtained from microfilm by writing to NARA’s National Personnel Records Center, (Military Personnel Records), 1 Archives Drive, St. Louis, MO 63138-1002. Research and reproduction fees are charged for this service. Please complete a GSA Standard Form 180 to request this information.
Also, you may wish to search Vietnam Order of Battles, US Army Transportation Corps - Fort Lee, Virginia; and Army 572nd Transportation Company | Army Veteran Locator websites for additional information.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
