Dear Ms. Geiser,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located Emergency Passport Applications, 1906-1925 in the General Records of the Department of State (Record Group 59) that was microfilmed as National Archives Publication No. M1490 and contains an application of a Sarah Silver. This series has been digitized by Ancestry. We searched Ancestry and located a U.S. Passport Application file for a Sarah Silver that matched the information provided. There may be a fee for using Ancestry. Instead, you may view these records online at one NARA's facilities for free via a NARA PC. For the nearest NARA location, please consult our web page at https://www.archives.gov/locations/. Also, some of the images from Ancestry are available for free on Family Search at https://www.familysearch.org/en/.
You also may wish to search History of the Poles in the United States; and Poland Archives and Libraries Genealogy websites for additional information about Sarah Silver.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
