Dear Mr. Cabrera,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located two series titled Military Historical Files, 1945 - 1962 in the Records of the Office of the Chief of Ordnance (Record Group 156) that consists of a collection of nearly 800 studies that detail the development of specific weapons and vehicles used by the Army; and Records of John B. Russell Relating to Army Air Forces Gunnery and Bombing Assessment Programs, 1943-1946 in the Records of the Office of the Secretary of War (Record Group 107) relating to the planning, organization, and operation of a gunnery and bombing assessment unit of the Army Air Forces during War II. For access to and/or copies, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2) via email at archives2reference@nara.gov.
We also suggest that you review World War II Books & Websites; List of World War II weapons of the United States; The 5 Deadliest U.S. Weapons From World War II; 11 Weapons That Won World War-II; and World War 2 Weapons for supplemental information and resources for your research topic.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
