Dear Ms. Conde,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located a Map of Cherokee Lands in South Carolina in the Records of the Bureau of Indian Affairs (Record Group 75) for you to view. For additional information, please refer to American Indian Records in the National Archives.
We also searched Ancestry and located All Census Results for Cambay Ross and All Military Results for Cumbia Ross for you to review. There may be a fee for using Ancestry. However, you may view these records online at one NARA's facilities for free via a NARA PC. For the nearest NARA location, please consult our web page at https://www.archives.gov/locations/. Also, some of the images from Ancestry are available for free on Family Search at https://www.familysearch.org/en/.
You may wish to search the South Carolina State Archives for Federal & State Recognized Native American Trips for more information.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!

Retta Conde Jan 13, 2020 9:43 AM (in response to Lisha Penn)Hi Lisha,
Thank you so much for your reply and attention to my question. I will fine tune my quest in finding my past with the help you’ve given me. Maybe after years of searching this can all come to a peaceful end....
I’m coming upon 60, hair thinned out and no end seem to have been in sight, then long come Lisha to bring a smile on my face..... Maybe now these hundreds pieces of my past can finally reveal a clear picture before I die.
i don’t understand how someone can appear suddenly with a past which leaves me baffled.
Smiling,
Retta
