1 person found this helpfulDear Ms. Dandridge,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located the Logbooks of U.S. Navy Ships and Stations, 1941 - 1983 in the Records of the Bureau of Naval Personnel (Record Group 24) that include the deck logs of the USS Morris (DD-417) for 1 January 1945 until its decommissioning on 9 November 1945. No deck logs were created following that date. For access to and/or copies of this log, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2) via email at archives2reference@nara.gov.

We hope this information is helpful. Best of luck with your research!

These are not the Deck Logs, but some War Diaries and other reports from the USS Morris, including some from 1945, have been digitized and are available in the Catalog in the series: World War II War Diaries, Other Operational Records and Histories, 1/1/1942 - 6/1/1946, from Record Group 38: Records of the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations:
