2 people found this helpfulDear Ms. Cathey,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
Sometimes unit publications are filed with the unit’s records or part of its history. We searched the National Archives Catalog and located 3 files for the 341st Ordnance Battalion from the series Unit Histories, 1942-1967 in the Records of U.S. Army Operational, Tactical, and Support Organizations (World War II and Thereafter) (Record Group 338); and also searched World War II Operations Reports, 1940-1948 in the Records of the Adjutant General’s Office (Record Group 407) and located a history for February 1931-December 1946 of the 341st that may contain information about the “The Rocket.” For access to and/or copies, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2) via email at archives2reference@nara.gov.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
