1 person found this helpfulDear Ms. O’Neill,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located two series titled Intelligence Records of Active Naval Stations, 1937-1945; and Records of Inactive Naval Stations, 1941-1945 in the Records of the Chief of Naval Operations (Record Group 38) that may include information about the Naval Radio Station on Bainbridge Island. Some records are digitized and available in the Catalog but not all. For access to and/or copies to undigitized records, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2) via email at archives2reference@nara.gov.
We also located a third series Central Subject Files, 1925-1946 in the Records of Naval Districts and Shore Establishments (Record Group 181). For access to and/or copies of these records, please contact the National Archives at Seattle (RW-SE) via email at seattle.archives@nara.gov.
You may wish to review NSGA Bainbridge Island; NPC Naval Radio Transmitting Station; and United States Naval Training Center, Bainbridge for more information.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!

Patrick McGinnis Nov 5, 2019 7:13 PM (in response to Nancy O'Neill)You should contact the Naval Cryptologic Veterans Assn. I'm sure they have members who served at that station.
