Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
Officially, SEAL Team 1 did not enter Vietnam until 1966 when Detachment G was attached to Operation Game Warden (TF 116). The Task Force took over policing the Rung Sat Special Zone. Other SEAL units may have been in Vietnam prior to that but they may have been attached to other Operations or units at the time.
