1 person found this helpfulDear Ms. Giddings,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located 3 series and 5 file units for “directories and bases” in the Records of U.S. Air Force Commands, Activities, and Organizations (Record Group 342) for 1951 to 1981. Not all bases are included or years. For access to and/or copies of the records, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2) via email at archives2reference@nara.gov.
We suggest that you search the U.S. DOD’s Defense Privacy, Civil Liberties, and Transparency Division website for the addresses and contact information of various Air Force Bases. Please contact each base to see if any recent directories still may be available.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with you research!

Ann Gilchrest Mar 6, 2020 12:20 PM (in response to Janice Giddings)Hi Janice,
Fellow Air Force Brat here. There is another place you may be able to locate your addresses. I have found all of our on-base addresses as well as several off-base addresses in my dad's orders. He kept just about every order ever issued to him.
