I am seeking help finding my grandfather's parish or townland in Ireland. Myles Emmett O'Donnell (b) 1848 +/- in Donegal Ireland. Schooled in N Dublin as tanner and bootmaker. Immigrated 1870 to Boston-Phily-Cincinnati, Ohio. Married Catherine Gannon 1872 Cincinnati, Ohio. Worked as a shoemaker in Cincinnati. Active with Hibernians, Shoe Labor Union. Died Cincinnati, OH 1902. Children include Philip Leo O'Donnell, James Bernard O'Donnell and others. I am his grand-daughter. Kristi Elizabeth O'Donnell. My DNA indicated Leinster, Ireland but father's letter says Donegal. Thank you.
