Dear Ms. Seymour,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the Access to Archival Databases (AAD) and located a database titled Italians to America Passenger Data File, 1855 - 1900 but did not locate any records for an Abraham Burno or James Charles Burno or others with the surname Burno.
However, we also searched Ancestry and located All Passenger Results for the Surname Burno; All Birth, Baptism & Christening Results for James Charles Burno; and an Ohio Marriage Record for James Charles Burno that lists his father Abraham. There may be a fee for using Ancestry. Instead, you may view these records online at one NARA's facilities for free via a NARA PC. For the nearest NARA location, please consult our web page at https://www.archives.gov/locations/. Also, some of the images from Ancestry are available for free on Family Search at https://www.familysearch.org/en/.
You may wish to use Family Search’s Italy Online Genealogy Records and/or
5 Uncommon Places to Find Your Ancestors’ Missing Parents for tips and additional resources in order to expand your research.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your family research!
