Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
The National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2) has custody of the Records of the United States Forces in Southeast Asia, 1950-1975 (Record Group 472) for U.S. Army units. These records consist mostly of unit organizational histories, after action reports, unit daily staff journals, and general orders. The files are arranged by unit, and identification of the unit is necessary before a search can be conducted. Once you have this information, please contact RDT2 via email at archives2reference@nara.gov for unit records. Geological coordinates are sometimes indicated in the unit daily staff journals.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
