    Seeking copies of OSS Documents

How do I get copies of the following OSS Documents from the National Archives?

Box 31 -- Reports by and about one Renato Carnime Senise, ca. April 1943, 38 pp. Senise, who became an Allied agent, was the nephew of a prominent Italian fascist. [WN#19887]

Box 40 -- Letter to William P. Maddox defending Commendatore Renato Carhime Senise [code name Philip Morris], May 7, 1943, 7 pp. [WN#19884]

Box 40 -- Excerpts From Secret Hearings of Renato Carmine Senise by the Swedish Authorities, October 1944, May 17, 1945, 12 pp. [WN#19888]

Box 40 -- Narrative summary of documents relating to, and a list of recommendations of things to do in light of, the trial of Renato Senise, February 1, 1945, 8 pp. Senise was “a scoundrel, as agreed on all hands, and probably (so far as can be judged here, not certainly) an enemy agent.” [WN#19889]

...summarizing information on Renato Carmine Senise, January 18, 1946, 29 pp. [WN#21101]

Box 299 -- Records relating to Renato C. Senise, nephew of Rome’s Chief of Police, July 1943, 4 pp. [WN#12987]

Box 420 -- Information about Renato Senise, an Italian movie producer, who was arrested in Sweden for espionage and bigamy, 1943-1946, ca. 300 pp. [WN#14744]

          Dear Mr. Walters,

Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!

To request copies of these OSS files, please provide the Record Group number, Entry number, Box number, and WN number for each one to the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2) via email at archives2reference@nara.gov.

Please note that we searched the box lists for RG 226, Entry 214, as well as those for Entries 210-220, but we were unable to locate a file for WN#21101.

We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
