1 person found this helpfulDear Ms. Glatz,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located a series titled Carded Records Showing Military Service of Soldiers Who Fought in Volunteer Organizations During the Indian Wars in the Records of the Adjutant General's Office, 1762 - 1917 (Record Group 94) that is partial digitized. Please search the series for the individuals you seek. If you are unable to locate a soldier, then please contact the National Archives at Washington, DC - Textual Reference (RDT1) via email at archives1reference@nara.gov to search the index for you.
Some records may be digitized in the National Archives Catalog or available on our partners’ websites such as Ancestry or view them for free at a NARA facility. For the nearest NARA location, please consult our web page at https://www.archives.gov/locations/. Also, some of the images from Ancestry are available for free on Family Search at https://www.familysearch.org/en/.
We also suggest that you review NARA’s Prologue magazine article on the Texas-Indian Wars for additional research tips and background information.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
