2 people found this helpfulDear Mr. Tregoning,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located the series Engrossed Declaration of Independence in the Records of the Continental and Confederation Congresses and the Constitutional Convention, 1765-1821 (Record Group 360). A digitized copy is available in the Catalog for you to view.
We suggest that you review the Declaration of Independence for sections titled, “The Engrossed Declaration” and “Parchment and Ink.” The Declaration of Independence displayed at the National Archives in Washington, DC, is written on parchment and measures 24 1⁄4 inches by 29 ¾ inches.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
