Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located the Logbooks of U.S. Navy Ships and Stations, 1941 - 1983 in the Records of the Bureau of Naval Personnel (Record Group 24) that include the deck logs of the USS Wrangell (AE-12) for 1965 and the USS Mazama (AE9) for 1968. The logs of the USS Wrangell (AE-12) for January through March 1965 and May through December 1965, and the USS Mazama (AE-9) for January 1968 through August 1968 and November through December 1968 have been digitized and are available online through the Catalog. Please note that the Catalog does not always list deck logs in chronological order.
The April 1965 deck logs for the USS Wrangell (AE-12) and the September and October 1968 deck logs for the USS Mazama (AE-9) are closed for digitization. Please see the blog CLOSED - Vietnam War-era U.S. Navy & Coast Guard Deck Logs for Digitization Project for more information. We regret any inconvenience this may cause you.
We hope this information is helpful.
