Seeking Merchant Marine Academy battle standard

Researching the history of the US Merchant Marine Academy Battle Standard and Streamers; e.g., who designed it and when, how and when the original was fabricated and who produced it, why the design features were selected, what do each of the service streamers represent and how were they designed and manufactured, when were the service streamers added, etc.

  Thank you for the links to the AMMM and MA History Program. I am aware of the content of the Academy's website, but it is a short overview with not much detail (I'm working on a journal article). Prior to coming on History Hub I connected with the curator of the Academy's museum and he related they do not have much more on the Standard's history, but was trying to find points of contact and sources for the questions I passed him (keeping my fingers crossed).
