Dear Mr. Rosenberg,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located 62 items, 8 file units, and one series of records about Mary Church Terrell but were unable to locate any sound recordings.
Please check the Library of Congress website Mary Church Terrell Papers for possible sound recordings that they may have in their holdings. You may find background information about about her work with National Association of Colored Women’s Clubs and also see NACW website at http://nacwc.org/.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
I had checked the LOC website with no luck. I'll keep looking. It seems odd that as much as she was sought by groups to speak and that some talks were broadcasted on radio that there would be nothing.

Hi Henry -
I'm a little late on this one but I reviewed Manuscript Division's administrative files, and searched the Websites of the Library's American Folklife Center and the Recorded Sound Research Center but I did not locate any audio recordings associated with Mary Church Terrell.
All the best,
Manuscript Reference Librarian
Library of Congress
Thanks for checking Patrick. I keep reading about her voice and delivery style so I was hopeful to be able to hear her. I imagine she spoke a little like Maya Angelou. Don't know if you ever heard her.
