Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located 3 series of the Convention between the United States and the Republic of Texas (1838-6/1841) in the Records of Boundary and Claims Commissions and Arbitrations (Record Group 76). For access to 2 of the series, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2) via email at archives2reference@nara.gov. For access to and/or copies of the maps, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Cartographic (RDSC) via email at carto@nara.gov.
We also located 13 series that pertain to General James Wilkinson and a few for both Wilkinson & Colonel Aaron Burr. For access to these series, please contact the National Archives of Washington, DC - Textual Reference (RDT1) via email at archives1reference@nara.gov.
Additional records about the Neutral Strip may be in the custody of the Louisiana State Archives. There are three essays Western Louisiana's Neutral Strip: Its History, People, And Legends, The Neutral Strip, and the Louisiana Purchase that also may be of interest.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
